Dear friend,
Virginia women have a lot at stake in this year’s elections. Paycheck fairness, health care freedoms and an economy that works for every Virginia family are all on the table depending on whether we keep the White House and the U.S. Senate in Democratic control on November 6th.
In the race to represent us in the U.S. Senate Tim Kaine believes women’s economic and health care rights are essential to a healthy and growing economy. His opponent George Allen has refused to support fair pay legislation, voted against the Family and Medical Leave Act and even wants to bring dangerous "Personhood" legislation to the federal level.
That’s what’s at stake in 27 days and that’s why I’m inviting you to participate in our Women’s Day of Action this Saturday, November 13th by coming to one of our Virginia Victory 2012 offices and helping us spread the word about the key differences between Democrats who want to expand our rights and equality and Republicans who want to roll them back.
Below are the details for the 5 Women’s Day of Action canvasses around the Commonwealth this Saturday – please make a plan to attend and help us drive put our Democratic ticket over the top in the closing days. If you are unable to attend one of these events please click here and sign up to volunteer when you can in the closing days of the campaign.
Virginia women and their families have too much at stake to sit on the sidelines while Republicans run on an agenda of rolling back the clock on our rights. Thank you for all that you do for our party and the families we serve.
