Now It’s All Up to YOU: VOTE!

Posted by on Nov 8, 2011 in Statewide | 0 comments

It all comes down to this: Your time.  Your effort.  Your VOTE.

The Farm Team has been extremely proud to endorse and support an impressive list of outstanding Democratic women candidates in this campaign cycle.  Several of these races have been difficult and contentious, and our endorsed candidates need YOUR help to win on November 8!

It is absolutely essential that we gain seats in the House and that we maintain our lead in the Senate, especially with two of our long-time Democratic women Senators retiring.  All of our endorsed candidates have fought very hard to do the right thing against incredible odds and YOUR vote can make a difference in this crucial election.

Senate candidate Barbara Favola, 31st District, has faced big money Republican opposition that has out-spent her campaign every step of the way; Henrico County Commonwealth’s Attorney candidate Shannon Taylor has an opponent  who is part of the Eric Cantor Republican junta and has never served a single day as a prosecutor, whereas Shannon has 12 years of dedicated experience; Connie Brennan, candidate for Delegate, 59th District, has been up against a heavily-financed Republican opponent with a criminal background and no elected experience; and during her campaign, accomplished Loudoun County Commonwealth’s candidate Attorney Jennifer Wexton revealed that she was challenged by a former law firm senior partner to engage in a pillow fight with a fellow female lawyer to determine who would be named the next partner in the firm.  Outrageous, all of it, but YOU can have a part in changing the outcome!

We absolutely need every single Farm Team member to get out and VOTE on Tuesday, November 8 to help push our candidates to VICTORY.  Every vote counts.  YOUR vote counts.  Exercise your right.  Flex your power.   Use your voice – VOTE!
