Please Be Careful: Scam/Phishing Issue Caught

We live in a digital age and it seems like we must be constantly on guard against online scams and phishing schemes.

Yesterday, February 12th, one of our members, Susan Platt, had her email hijacked. This could have been done many ways and it is currently being investigated.

Please, beware any messages with the following characteristics:

From: Susan Platt <susansplatt@gmail.com>

Subject: Please Help!!!

This is obviously a scam as they solicit money to be sent to Edinburgh, Scotland. We all know that Susan is not in Scotland.

If you receive this email with this request please disregard it.
