Delegate Herring Named Courts of Justice Commitee Whip for Democratic Caucus

Delegate Herring was recently appointed Democratic Whip of the powerful Courts of Justice Committee.   The Committee is ranked only second to the House Appropriations Committee.  Delegate Herring also serves on the Courts of Justice Criminal Law and Judicial Systems Subcommittees.

Minority Leader Ward Armstrong stated that he appointed Delegate Herring because “she possesses experience, judgment and leadership that is necessary for a successful whip”.
