Not much to brag about, so far.
Now the good news:
With special elections in the Eighth and Thirty-Seventh, if concerned citizens from all political backgrounds can unite behind the Democratic candidates, there is a good chance of winning both of these elections on January 12, 2010.
Bill Fleming in Virginia Beach has thirty days to reach about 10,000 Democratic leaning voters and he can WIN in that Republican majority district.
People all over Virginia can pitch-in and phone bank, blog or write letters on Bill Fleming’s behalf, no matter where your home actually is.
Our fellow citizens DESERVE a better choice than that offered by the current multinational corporate lackeys who run the Republican side. Take a look at successes here in Virginia by Mark Warner, Jim Webb and State Senator, John Miller and the path to success is clearly to show the citizens a positive vision of the future, based on real solutions to the real problems that we all face.
If Democrats can stop talking about creating special rights for various pet minority groups and return to their traditional roots of being the champion of our Constitution and our Workers (all of them, including White Men) then, Democrats here in Virginia, can again, win.
