Gwen Mason: Thank You

Dear Friends,
Together, in a difficult district and a difficult year, we accomplished so much. We stood up for the most important investments a community can make: in our schools and our children, in new roads and new jobs, and our economic future as a Commonwealth. I have immeasurable pride in the issues we raised, and in each of you who worked so hard to fight for them.
I have been humbled in the past week to see countless people walk through our office door to pick up the phone and call their neighbors in the Roanoke valley. I can never thank you enough for every donation and hour that you invested in this campaign. It has been my honor to join you in this pursuit and to enjoy the relationships that rewards such hard labor.
This campaign has been one of the great experiences of my life. Each conversation with someone at a doorstep, each opportunity to hear a struggle or a celebration, each smiling face and kind word after a long day of work, each of these moments has meant the world to me. I will treasure these experiences with you for the rest of my life. Thank you for being part of our campaign.
Sincerely,

Jeanette Rishell: Thank You
Dear Susan,
I want to express my deep gratitude to all who shared your time and resources by contributing funds, volunteering on my campaign, offering advice, and casting your vote for me. It was truly a pleasure to meet you and to work with you.
Even though we did not win, every one of us can be proud of this campaign. We can be proud of the principles the campaign was based upon and that we fought hard to represent. The ideals of pre-kindergarten education, accessible health care and a real transportation solution still exist and are something that we can continue to work towards.
As we continue from election day, I urge you to let all your representatives know where you stand on these and other important issues and then hold them accountable for keeping their word. We must continue to fight against politics as usual so that if we are promised something by our legislators, we ensure that the promise is followed through. It is written in Luke 12:34, "where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Please keep asking your representatives where their hearts are, so that we may all share in the treasure of a brighter tomorrow in Virginia.
Sincerely,

Jeanette

Your support has gotten our campaign to this day, and there’s just one more thing I need to ask of you: vote.
We’ve all worked hard over the last year, fighting together for Virginia’s future. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve been driving late at night with another early morning of campaigning in front of me and been energized and inspired by your belief in me.
Today, when you vote, I hope you’ll express that belief – but even more important is the belief you’ll be expressing in our democracy.
Once you’ve voted, please click here – you don’t need to sign up, just click and we’ll know you’re voice has been heard, through your vote, and that you’re as committed as we are to keeping Virginia moving forward. Letting us know you voted will also help us make our get out the vote efforts as efficient as possible.
With great thanks,
Jody

Friends,
Election Day is mere hours way.
We’ve run a great campaign and you should all be proud of the hard work you’ve done in this election. We’ve out raised and out worked our opponent.
But we’re not done yet. We can’t take anything for granted because we all know the only poll that matters is the one that takes place on Election Day. That’s why we need to ensure that everyone who is eligible to vote gets to the polls tomorrow. So please, remind your family, friends and neighbors to get out and vote for Creigh, Jody, Steve, and Charniele tomorrow!
If you need a ride to the polls call 703-548-DEMS.
Also, have a few hours to spare tomorrow and want to know how to help? The Alexandria Democratic Committee has a few last minute shifts open to work the polls. If you can help, please email Jerry at GBernier36@aol.com or call her at 703.400.0953.
RALLY TONIGHT — 6:00 PM, MARKET SQUARE, OLD TOWN ALEXANDRIA
PLEASE JOIN your fellow Democrats, Gov. Tim Kaine, Sen. Jim Webb, Sen. Mark Warner, Creigh Deeds, Jody Wagner and Steve Shannon for our rally. It is an event you don’t want to miss.
This is it! Just a few hours left in this election. I know none of us want to wake up Wednesday and wonder if we could have done more. So do everything you can!
Let’s Get Out the Vote!
Thank you,
-Jason
